加拿大曼尼托巴大學(University of Manitoba)政治學碩士(M.A.，中國神學研究院道學碩士(M.Div.)及維真學院(Regent College)神學碩士(Th.M.)，巴克大學(Bakke Graduate University)教牧博士主修靈修神學。靈根自植國際網絡創辦人及會長，專研靈命塑造及屬靈導引。曾跟隨靈修學者侯士庭 (James Houston) 、魏德樂 (Dallas Willard) 等學習禱告及靈修神學。多年來藉牧養教會、文字事奉及神學教育等，推動信徒靈命更新和屬靈導師的培育工作，並於不同神學院任教靈修神學和靈命塑造，培訓牧靈導師及門徒。近作包括：《牧靈導師手冊》、《逆轉靈性》、及《門檻上的信仰告白》等。

Alan Choi holds a M.A. in Political Science from the University of Manitoba, a M.Div. from the China Graduate School of Theology, and a Th.M. from Regent College.  He also earned a D.Min. in spiritual theology from Bakke Graduate University.  Alan is the founder and president of Spiritual Formation International, specializing in spiritual formation and spiritual guidance.  He has studied prayer and spiritual theology under scholars such as James Houston and Dallas Willard.  Over the years, through pastoral ministry, writing, and theological education, he has promoted the renewal of believers' spiritual lives and the cultivation of spiritual mentors and disciples.  His recent works include "Handbook for Pastoral Mentors," "Reversing Spirituality," and "Confession of Faith at the Threshold."
