The alumni is available for all alumni, including those who have completed the extension and master’s degrees. We hope that it will promote mutual aid, develop relationship, and encourage lifelong friendships among alumni.
Our Members
Formerly, CESNA was an extension center. In 1998, the center was reorganized into the US branch of China Evangelical Seminary and began accepting master’s students. In 2008, the seminary became independent and was renamed CESNA. In 2009, CESNA began its DMin program. Those who graduate from any program, including the extension certificate, master’s, or doctorate are our alumni.
Our Alumni Association
In 2004 sister Shijin Lei, a master’s graduate, felt the need for an alumni association. Sister Lei organized a meeting during which they selected committee members and drafted a constitution for the association. Thus began the first term began with sister Lei serving as President. In 2007 the association renewed membership and the second term began with Pastor Miaomiao Wu as President. The third term, beginning in 2011, had Pastor Xiaohui Zhao as its President. And the fourth term had Dr. Joshua Siu as its President. The association hopes to make positive influence among CESNA alumni through its concentrated efforts.
