Dora holds a M.R.E. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a M.A.R. (Biblical Studies) from Westminster Theological Seminary, a D.Min. (Genre Approach to Biblical Interpretation and Instruction) and Ph.D. (Spiritual Formation)from Claremont School of Theology.  She has served as a pastor in three North American Chinese churches from 1984 to 2014.  Since 2001, she has been a guest instructor at various North American Chinese seminaries, specializing in spiritual formation, Christian Education, biblical interpretation and instruction, and Bible curriculum design, etc.  In the recent decade, she has also served as a certified spiritual director, and led silent retreats for pastors and seminarians.  Currently, she is the Director of the Spiritual and Character Formation Center (SCFC) at China Evangelical Seminary North America (CESNA).
