伊的家華人基督教會位于紐約的Ithaca(伊薩卡)，隸屬於播道會。伊薩卡是一个约
有三万人口的极为美麗的大學城，拥有康奈爾大學及伊薩卡學院两所学校。教會的
异象是借面对学生学者的福音工作，装备差遣神国的工人。该教会由一群淳朴忠心
爱主的弟兄姐妹组成，有中英文两堂聚会约150会众。每年约有20人受洗。神使这
间教会横向连接，深处扎根，向上结果，四十年来18位弟兄姐妹蒙召全职事奉，同
时兴起了许多双职事奉教会同工。诚邀对学生学者传福音，牧养群羊，门训，塑造
，差派同工工作有負擔的牧者加入我們的服事團隊。
教会事工異象：
以生命影响生命，借着教导，牧养，门训帶領會眾认识真理，更新生命的深度，拓
展普世教会国度观，造就，差派双职事奉同工，拓展校园职场福音，拓展教會在社
区文化影响力。培養終生愛主、爱人，爱教會，用生命敬拜主的謙卑僕人。
資格：
1 清楚的蒙神呼召，傳福音，牧養群羊，门徒培训，和塑造差派同工。
2 扎实的真理根基，认同教会的信仰宣告https://www.efca.org/sof。
3 有爱心和美好的品格，成熟的人際關系, 溝通, 领导和管理能力。
4 委身服事高流动性的大學城教會。
5 中英文流利，已婚优先考虑。
6 神学院毕业及有北美留学经验优先考虑。
事工內容：
1 全面負責教會中文事工。
2 與教會長執會負起教會事工異象的拓展。
3 牧養，造就，门訓众信徒。

FICCC Chinese Pastor Search Job Description (4/11/2025)
Ithaca Chinese Christian Church is located in Ithaca, New York, and is affiliated
with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). Ithaca is a gorgeous college
town with a population of about 30,000. It is home to two universities, Cornell
University and Ithaca College. The vision of the church is to equip and send
coworkers for the kingdom of God through spreading the gospels to students and
scholars. The church is composed of a group of pure-hearted and faithful brothers

and sisters who love the Lord. It has two congregations, Chinese and English, for
about 150 regular attendees. About 20 people are baptized each year. God has
enabled this church to connect bodies of Christ, take deep roots, and bear
abundant fruits. In the past forty years, the Lord has called 18 brothers and sisters
to serve the Lord full time and many to serve in bi-vocational ministries. We
sincerely invite a full time pastor to join our Chinese and English congregation
ministries who are committed to evangelizing students and scholars, shepherding
the flock, discipling, molding, and sending out co-workers for the great
commission.
Church Ministry Vision:
Influence lives with life, lead the congregation to understand the truth through
teaching, pastoral care, and discipleship, renew the depth of life, expand God’s
kingdom as an universal church, mold, send bi-vocational coworkers, expand
campus and marketplace ministries, and expand churches’ cultural influence in
the societal community. Cultivate humble servants who love the Lord, people, and
church, and worship the Lord with their lives throughout their lifetime.

Qualifications:
1. Clearly called by God to preach the gospel, shepherd the flock, disciple, mold,
and send co-workers.
2. Have a solid foundation of truth and agree with the EFCA statement of faith

3. Loving and strong character, mature interpersonal, communication, leadership,
and management skills.
4. Committed to serving a college town church with high-mobility in its
congregations.
5. Fluent in both Chinese and English. Married applicants will be given priority.
6. Seminary graduates and those with experience studying abroad in North
America will be given priority.

Ministry Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the Chinese congregation ministry of the church.
2. Responsible for the execution and expansion of FICCC’s ministry vision with
the board of deacons.
3. Shepherd, mold, and disciple believers.
