POSITION:

Part Time Youth Director

PURPOSE:

The purpose is to be a part of the team to minister to the youth of our church and community in grades 6-12 and shepherd the youths and help them to become disciples of Jesus Christ as well as growing to maturity in the spiritual, social, and emotional areas of their lives.

REQUIREMENTS:

•      A born-again Christian with a heart for the youth

•      Pray and care for the youth that he or she ministers to

•      Conduct oneself in a Christ-like manner and demonstrate high Biblical standards with one’s daily walk with God

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•      Roles of youth counselor and Sunday School teacher for the youths as needed

•      Working with English Pastor to plan, implement, and participate in all youth-focused ministries included but not limited to Friday nights and Sundays.

•      Encourage and establish meaningful personal relationships with youths to help them build a lasting relationship with Jesus

•      Through regular communication and discussions with youth parents, understand youth needs and encourage parents to participate in youth fellowship activities to build up families with youth

CHURCH WORK TIME PERIOD:

Fridays and Sundays (details negotiable)

ACCOUNTABILITY:

English Pastor. Youth program schedule will be reviewed and approved by the English Pastor before implementation.

COMPENSATION:

To be determined based on available hours
