Ning gets his M.Div. from Talbot School of Theology, majoring in spiritual formation & soul care. He also holds a Ph.D. degree in Genetics from Iowa State University.  He is a certified spiritual director from both Talbot School of Theology, and Larry Crabb School of Spiritual Direction.  Ning experienced a significant life transformation in 2016 and has since been called and involved in spiritual formation ministries. He currently serves as a spiritual director at the Spiritual and Character Formation Center (SCFC) at China Evangelical Seminary North America (CESNA).  Ning is also an intern pastor at Chinese Bible Church of San Diego, promoting spiritual formation ministries.
